Throughout the leagues and tournaments I've organized, coached in, and played in, I've seen a lot of adults play basketball in my lifetime. This year in the NBA, I observed a lot of the lessons about basketball -- lessons which I learned the hard way through mostly painful losses and a few exhilirating championships -- come to fruition.

Instead of watching two storied franchises which seemed to have had innate, perhaps unfair, personnel advantages over various dynasties of time, we have two teams which seem to be reflecting an era of basketball while at the same time possibly ushering in a new era, with the Lockout looming and strongly indicating a change to the business of basketball as we know it.

Keputusan cuti bersama 3 Juni berlaku wajib bagi PNS - JAKARTA. Pemerintah telah menetapkan tanggal 3 Juni mendatang sebagai cuti bersama. Namun, keputusan itu hanya berlaku bagi pegawai negeri sipil (PNS).

Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi EE Mangindaan bilang, cuti bersama itu tidak berlaku berlaku bagi PNS yang bertugas pada sektor pelayanan publik yang vital. "Pelayanan harus tetap jalan, seperti rumah sakit dan terminal," kata Mangindaan sebelum rapat terbatas di kantor Presiden, Senin (23/5).

Asal tahu saja keputusan cuti bersama itu dituangkan dalam Surat Keputusan Bersama (SKB) Menteri Agama, Menteri Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi, dan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi. Surat itu bernomor SKB 03/2011, Kep.135/MEN/V/2011 dan SKB/02/M.PAN-RB/05/2011.

Menteri Koordinator Kesejahteraan Rakyat Agung Laksono menambahkan, pemerintah memperhitungkan cuti bersama sebagai bagian dari hak cuti PNS dalam setahun. "Selama setahun 12 hari cuti dan enam hari dilakukan secara bersama-sama, termasuk tanggal 3 Juni mendatang," katanya.

Menurutnya, cuti bersama ini bermanfaat bagi PNS yang selama ini tidak sepenuhnya memakai hak cuti tahunan mereka. Apalagi, kesempatan untuk cuti bisa dipakai untu rekreasi dan penyegaran bagi PNS dan keluarganya. Selain itu,kebijakan cuti bersama bisa memberi kontribusi untuk meningkatkan kegiatan pariwisata dalam negeri yang berujung pada peningkatan ekonomi.

Bagi pegawai swasta, Agung mengatakan, ketentuan ini tidak bersifat wajib. Dia mengatakan, keputusan diserahkan kepada kebijakan perusahaan masing-masing.
