Whitney Houston Cancel Show in Paris

Los Angeles - U.S. pop diva Whitney Houston has postponed her concert in Paris due to illness. She also postponed her world tour including Europe and the invitation to perform in Asia and Australia.

Organisers said the concert that the singer was aged 46 is very excited to open European tour in Omnisport Bercy, Paris, and sorry to have delayed the show.

"Whitney suffered from upper respiratory infections and after consulting with her doctors suggested she put off her appearance," explained a statement from concert organizers.

"Whitney Houston and her band to apologize that the show should be rescheduled in such a short time," she said.

Whitney's tour would continue as scheduled in Manchester, England on April 8, and her show in Paris will be announced in the near future.

Houston is the female vocalist from the United States with the highest selling album of all time. She plans to return to the concert last year after battling drug addiction.

She also released an album I Look To You, which is also the first studio album in seven-year period which topped the U.S. charts and other international.

But her appearance during the world tour "Nothing but Love" in Australia is highlighted by some critics and fans who stepped out of the concert, because it complained that Whitney looks terrible, out of breath, and looked exhausted.

Whitney's publicist, Kristen Foster, issued a statement denying that Houston suffered health problems, and insisted that she was said that she in good health condition and has a wonderful time touring with her fans.

Whitney Houston tour begins in South Korea in February to bring singers to perform in Japan and Australia. Whitney is scheduled to tour in the UK, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finland, in June.**inilah**
