Fukushima Create New Eectric Network

Tokyo Electric Power Company, operator Power Plant in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power, said: will begin work to install new electricity network as a step to recovery cooling system.

The three reactors at the plant has lost the ability to perform cooling, due to power outages after the quake on Friday, and emergency power generator damage when hit by the tsunami.

Previously, the company has taken some measures to anticipate, such as: spraying water into the reactor using a pump truck. But the recovery remains unsuccessful cooling function.

The company said it will begin work preparing electrical network of high-voltage cable near the factory on Thursday (17/3) afternoon, in an attempt to get re-supply of electrical energy.

It aims to restore the primary cooling system which until now still use sea water. INILAH.COM
