Multiple Attacks, Rattles Norway

Bombings and double shootings, rocked Norway on Friday (22/7) local time. Dozens of people died in this incident.

The gunman posing as police officers, as reported by the Straits Times, shooting at youth camp. This incident continues with a bomb that blew up government buildings in the capital Oslo.

In addition to 17 casualties, many reports of injured from the explosion in downtown Oslo, as well as summer camp for the Labour Party Prime Minister (PM) Jens Stoltenberg's ruling. This camp is situated on an island, not far from the capital.

In a conference perss night, PM Stoltenberg said it was too early to speculate about the mastermind of this attack. However, he promised one of the safer countries in Europe this would not be intimidated by these kinds of attacks.

"People like living in a nightmare. The next few days, we will find out who is responsible for this attack. Norway is a small country and a disaster of this kind will strengthen us to get through it together," he said.

"This is a message for anyone who attacked us, you will not destroy us. You can not destroy our democracy and our ideals for a better world," said PM Stoltenberg.

Police make sure the 10 victims died from the camp on the island Utoeya and they are worried the numbers will increase. Earlier, officials also said seven people were killed by a bomb in Oslo.

It is feared there were more bombs on the island. Location shooting not far from the region who plan to attend PM Stoltenberg to give a speech to about 560 invitations. While in Oslo bomb exploded not far from the office of PM.

"We still do not have a theory. But we have to control the situation and gather some information," he said.
