Trick-or-treat in local communities

The following is a list of area Trick-or-Treat times.

Oct. 31

5:30 to 7 p.m.: Jacksonburg, Trenton, Madison Twp., Middletown

5:30 to 7:30 p.m.: Monroe, Oxford, Oxford Twp., Turtlecreek Twp., Lebanon, Reily Twp.

6 to 7:30 p.m.: Milford Twp.

6 to 8 p.m.: Hamilton, Fairfield, Fairfield Twp., Ross Twp., Hanover Twp., Morgan Twp., Mason, Deerfield Twp., Franklin, Carlisle, Hamilton Twp., Liberty Twp., Morrow, New Lebanon, Waynesville, Seven Mile, St. Clair Twp., West Chester Twp., New Miami, Springboro

• Trick-or-treat while it’s light outside. Never carry a lit torch or candle.

Never trick-or-treat alone.

Children should wait outside the door for their treats.

• Plan your trick-or-treat route ahead of time, staying in your immediate neighborhood along well-lit streets. • Instruct children never to eat any treats until they return home and the treats have been examined under sufficient light by an adult. Notify the police if there are any suspicious treats.

• Always walk on the sidewalk while trick-or-treating.
