Honda: Green Car, Cheapest Car 2011

Slowly but surely, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) program continues to await the emergence of cheap and environmentally friendly cars at the end of this year. Secretly, car manufacturer Honda is targeting incentives for green car.

Jonfis Fandy, Director of Marketing and Sales Service HPM said that, until now the Honda is still waiting for assurance from government regulation. Honda hopes to participate in the program but offers eco-friendly concept car, aka the green car.

"The concept there are two, low cost and green car. We wants get into the green car. If a car with a price of Rp80 million, could not get enough safety standards. So it's not our target," said Jonfis at Mal Kelapa Gading, Jakarta North, yesterday.
As is known, the Government of Indonesia plans to spawn regulatory program inexpensive and environmentally friendly cars at the end of this year. The policy package, the government offers incentives for car manufacturers who want to invest all at once appointed Indonesia as its production base.

About Brio - cheap car Honda - Jonfis admitted today still study them. The result will be a reference, perhaps the product is marketed in Indonesia.

"In Thailand, Honda certainly join the Eco Car program. In Indonesia, it is still too early," said Jonfis.
