DETROIT - Irene Hurricane is still the subject of the top news in the United States. In addition to endangering the American people, the storm that occurred since the weekend have a negative impact on the local automotive industry.

Analysts and local dealers said the cyclone could reduce new car sales this month. The reason is, people will prefer to repair damage to their vehicles rather than spending money to buy a new vehicle.

The dealers are also trying to move a vehicle they were out of line with Irene Hurricane. Most of them plan to move the car in a safe place, away from trees and buildings.

General Motors and BMW explained that: today it is still not too affected by the storm. Officials from both companies say there is no risk of hurricane impact.

"Staying on schedule 4 to 10 hours a day. There is no production on Friday, or on weekends," said
GM spokeswoman Mary Ann Brown, as reported by Detroit Free Press.

"We have about 300 vehicles in the basement. And also 100 vehicles in the showroom. The rest of us parked in a safe place away from pohon.Kita will park the big trucks in front of the window," said George Brunath, executive general manager of Nissan's Hamilton Square, New Jersey.
