Hundreds People Victim "Website" Women Entertainers

Officials of Directorate General of Criminal Investigation Jakarta Police uncover cases of fraud that utilizes the virtual world by offering comfort women.

"We were securing a suspect with the initials IR alias" ST XIS "which create a website named www.anakayam.us, filled with photographs of women who can be booked for the act of intercourse," said the Head of Public Relations Jakarta Police Commissioner 'Baharudin Djafar' told to reporters at the Directorate General Criminal, Tuesday (12/14/2010).

Baharudin said the website is filled with photographs arranged like the ad. Web site visitors who are interested to book the woman's cell phone contact numbers of suspects listed in the website. To order a woman who is on the website, the charge varies from Rp 1 million to Rp 35 million.

"However, women who booked visitors never really existed. Suspects get their photos from the Google website," he said.

Commissioner Heri Nahak Rudolf, Director General Criminal Polda Metro Jaya, explained, the action of fraud via the internet has been killed 300 people. "They ordered women in advertisements on the website, and make transfers to the account number of suspects," said Heri.

Heri said the suspect offered to pay a booking women varies. "Starting from cheap package Rp 1 million, Rp 5 million package of VIP, VVIP Rp 10 million package, the package VVIP Rp 20 million, Rp 25 million, Rp 30 million, and Rp 35 million," he said.

"Once entered into the website, if interested, should send the money first in RTGS to the account number listed. To make the visitor interested, add another suspect with more hot pictures," he said.

Heri said the company is still investigating this fraud case, in particular looking for evidence in the fraud. If one person transacting such to Rp 5 million, with the victim up to 300 people, could reach billions. There's no way the money for a year just disappear.

"We still go into the examination for the network said the other suspects," said Heri.
