MARYLAND VS EAST CAROLINA LIVE GAME UPDATE:
Maryland quarterback Danny O’Brien attempted to destroy ECU defense and score for an offensive play but it was not good enough. Finally, with 10 minutes left in the first quarter, he was able to deliver a good pass to wide receiver Kevin Dorsey but starting punter Travis Baltz’s 25-yard field goal attempt was intercepted.
Disappointed with first attempt in the first quarter, Baltz tried to score in the second quarter and fortunately scored for 23-yard field goal at 9:45. Pirates’ placekicker Michael Barbour cut Terrapins lead to 6 when he scored 37-yard field goal just 3 minutes after Barbour’s field goal.
Terrapins running back D.J. Adams rushed for 1 yard and scored a touchdown giving his team a 13-point advantage. One minute left in the second quarter and it seems that ECU will not be able to score anymore.
