Munich - hot tension has been felt before a big match between Germany 16 against England. German legend Franz Beckenbauer had criticized the England squad, but later Beckenbauer pulled his words and apologize to the British public.

Former German national team player who succeeded in making the World Cup both as player or as coach, states when the British were foolish enough to meet Germany in the second round of World Cup 2010.

According to the man who was nicknamed Der Kaiser, Fabio Capello's squad should get knocked out when the Germans met. He also criticized the British style of play under the tutelage of Capello. Rush kick traits belong to England and adopted into a game which put much bait away.

"Before the World Cup, I mentioned England as a championship opportunity. They have a great team and coach. But, look at two of their early games, I was very disappointed but not angry. It is very, very disappointing," said Beckenbauer as reported by AFP on Saturday ( 06/26/2010).

Perhaps the revelation was seen as a criticism to the British. Honorary president of Bayern Munich claim they disappointed, but he apologized if his words offended the British.

"I say that because I admires England. Football they are very big and I love the British style. This is the reaction of my disappointment and I am not in a good mood," Beckenbauer cap.

Quite a shame this was the second favorite team should have killed each other too early in the round of 16 large. However, could be predicted if the winner of this match will immediately become superior to reach the final.
