Nuclear Reactor, Shut Down Power Plant

Nuclear Reactor, Shut Down Power Plant - Human can't regardless of the electricity dependence, cause electricity is one of the life source. Seeing is the depletion of fuel and mineral deficits as power plants found many alternatives, including nuclear.
Nuclear Reactor
Nuclear reactor was the scene of the core cleavage reaction (nuclear) or known as a controlled fission chain. The main part of the nuclear reactor that is: the fuel, control rods, moderator, coolant, and shield.

Nuclear reactors are distinguished by function into two, namely reactor research, and nuclear power (nuclear power plants). Nuclear reactor will produce the hot energy in biggest number. For example in power reactors, the heat energy produced can be used to produce steam heat, and then used to work the turbine-generator that can generate electricity.

While the research reactor, the heat produced is not utilized and can be discharged into the environment.

Here is an outline of the workings of a nuclear reactor (PWR type) to produce electricity, as reported by Nuklir.INFO:
- In the reactor core, fission occurs because of the shooting neutrons of nuclear fuel that produces heat energy.
- Heat energy generated from the reactor core and then carried by water pressure on the primary loop to the steam generator.
- D idalam steam generator, water originating from the secondary loop to be heated and formed steam.
- Steam produced is directed to a steam turbine generator to rotate and eventually generate electricity.

"They worked in a panic to find a solution to cool the reactor core. This indicates how serious the problem. They were forced to perform an unusual action and improvise to cool the nuclear reactor,"
said Mark Hibbs, senior researcher of the nuclear policy program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Consequently, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), more than 170,000 people within a radius of 10-20 km from the installation of plants in Fukushima were evacuated in connection with the explosion that occurred in these plants.

Momentary or short-term impact due to high radiation in the vicinity of nuclear reactors, among others, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache,
